Parent Volunteer Briefing (8.11.2025)

The St. Paul’s Convent School Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) welcomed the 2025–2026 parent volunteers at the annual Parent Volunteer Briefing Session held on November 8, 2025, in Room G7 of the school. This event marked the beginning of another exciting year of collaboration between parents, teachers, and the PTA to support school activities and initiatives.

The session was attended by over 70 parent volunteers, including 25 newly appointed team leaders who will coordinate various volunteer groups. The event began with a warm welcome from Ms. Jennifer Lam (PTA Chairlady), Dr. Tony Cheong (PTA Vice-Chairman), and members of the Executive Committee (ExCo), who expressed heartfelt gratitude for the volunteers’ commitment to supporting the school and its students.

ExCo Team leaders introduced their activities during the session, sharing their personal experiences and visions for contributing to the PTA’s initiatives. This was followed by a presentation by Ms. Grace Lam, who outlined the roles and responsibilities of volunteers for the upcoming 77th School Speech Festival, ensuring everyone was well-prepared for their duties.

Additionally, Ms. Frances Ng, Ms. Elaine Lau, and Mr. Leroy Lam gave an inspiring presentation on the Rooftop Garden project. Attendees were introduced to the garden’s flourishing plants and recent harvests, which showcased the dedication and efforts of the Rooftop Garden team. Volunteers were invited to tour the garden after the briefing and encouraged to join this meaningful initiative.

The event emphasized the importance of collaboration and partnership between parents, teachers, and the school. This strong bond is vital in fostering students’ holistic education, a cornerstone of the PTA’s mission.

The PTA looks forward to a fruitful year of partnership with parents, filled with successful events and meaningful contributions to the school community. Thank you to all volunteers for your support and dedication!
