With this in mind, we are excited to invite you to our upcoming Parent Seminar, which will feature two insightful topics: Parental Positive Discipline and Understanding Chinese Culture through Chinese History.

Part 1: Parenting the Positive Discipline Way: Be Kind and Firm
家長正面管教培訓：溫和且堅定的力量
This session will focus on equipping parents with effective strategies and tools to promote positive discipline within the family setting. We believe that by fostering healthy parent-child relationships, setting boundaries, improving communication, and resolving conflicts constructively, we can create an environment that nurtures our children’s emotional well- being. Renowned expert, Ms. Ava Lau, will share her extensive knowledge and insights on positive discipline techniques to empower parents in their parenting journey.
Part 2: Understanding Chinese Culture through Chinese History
透過 學習 中國歷史了解中華文化
The second session aims to deepen our understanding of Chinese culture and history, allowing us to better connect with our heritage and support our children’s cultural development. We are honoured to have Mr. Leung Wai Kit, a respected authority on Chinese history, to guide us through an exploration of key historical events and their impact on Chinese culture. This session will provide valuable insights into Chinese values, enabling us to foster a greater appreciation and understanding of our rich cultural heritage.
We believe that this is an invaluable opportunity to learn from experts in the industry. We encourage all parents of SPCS to attend both sessions together with their daughter(s). Please see the attached Speakers Profile and Topic Summary for your reference. The seminar will be conducted in Cantonese with English and/or Putonghua translation where necessary.
