The Parent Teacher Association specially held an educational seminar on “How to use STEM to equip children to face the 21st century?” The details are as follows:

Time: 2:00pm – 3:30pm (Sharing + Q&A + Programming)

Language: Cantonese

Format: Online Seminar (Zoom Meeting)

Audience: School parents

Fee: Free of charge

Speakers: Dr. Ray – Associate Professor, CityU

Goal: Students learn independently

Seminar Outline:

STEM stands for

S – Science

T – Technology

E – Engineering

M – Mathematics

*The promotion of STEM education is in line with the global education trend to equip students to face the changes and tackle the challenges caused by the rapid economic, scientific and technological development of society regionally and globally.

*Promoting STEM education is a priority for families to let younger generation to get ready with the required knowledge, generic competencies, values and attitudes. Therefore, they can be cultivated continuous learning to stay competitive to meet the challenges of the 21st century.
