We would like to share our joy and with great pleasure to announce that our school has participated in the 70th Hong Kong Schools Speech Festival this academic year with outstanding results.
With special thanks to the teachers and parent volunteers on their effort and co-operation, the arrangement of the whole event was uneventful and our students were well looked after.
Due to a high demand of parent volunteers who requested to accompany our students, this year we have arranged up to 3 parent volunteers instead of 2 with each class and teacher. The turnout was excellent with 101 parent volunteers joining the event totaling 124 volunteers’ participation this year. It is always an invaluable experience for our parent volunteers to show their support with our students. Cheering for them while witnessing our students performing with great team spirit on stage, sharing the joy and excitement or disappointment with them is a unique experience which one will undoubtedly cherish.
A total of 79 awards were won in this year’s competition including 24 champion awards, 32 first runner ups and 23 second runner ups. This remarkable achievement is surely encouraging and motivating to our future students.
Lastly, we would like to take this opportunity to show our gratitude to the school, the teachers and all the parent volunteers involved. Their voluminous support has made the event a success.
