The 10th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of St. Paul’s Convent School Parent Teacher Association (SPCS PTA) was held on October 22, 2016 at the school hall. We are grateful that in addition to our PTA Exco members, Ms Gigi Mak, SPCS PTA Legal Advisor, Ms Rebecca Chan and Mrs Lilian Hui, our past Chairladies, also kindly graced us with their presence in the event.
The meeting was commenced by a welcome speech by our Masters of Ceremony Mr Iceman Leung and Ms Lorna Wong. Our Chairman Mr Timothy Ngan has presented the annual report and made a presentation to summarize the activities organized by the PTA during the past year. Timothy has expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the PTA Advisor, Principal Rev Sr. Margaret, 2015/2016 PTA Executive Committee Members, Legal Advisor, Auditor, Teachers, PTA members, and parent volunteers for their invaluable advice, support and contributions offered to the PTA last year.
The organization structure of PTA and the 2016/2017 Executive Committee team were presented. The new Chairlady Ms Lorna Wong made a note of thanks to past Chairman and Treasurer for their dedicated efforts and contributions.
In acknowledgement of the contribution and commitment made by the Parents Teachers Association in the past year, Principal Rev Sr. Margaret presented the Appreciation Certificates to the PTA Exco members of 2015/2016, Honorary Auditor and Legal Advisor. To mark the occasion, a group photo was taken on the stage.
Another highlight of the day was an inspiring talk presented by our honorable guest, Mr. Alfred Cheung Kin-ting, on “讓孩子聰明的十一種方法”.
