Environmental protection has been a growing global concern worldwide. In line with the school theme of “Low Carbon Living. Green Life” for the year 2010/11, the PTA will collaborate with the School in a series of activities with a view to promoting sustainability at school and at home. As the first of a series of activities on sustainability, PTA Exco members and family joined the School Student Mission led by Dr. Lo, Ms Ng, and Ms Chu, and comprising students from Form 5 and 6, to visit Eco Expo Asia 2010 held at the AsiaWorld-Expo on Saturday, November 6, 2010. Apart from a comfortable test ride on an eco-friendly bus, we also had the opportunity to visit a great variety of exhibits, ranging from energy efficient light bulbs to eco-friendly vehicles, by exhibitors from around the world. |
